The Parental Committee

The pre-school is a registered charity – number 1044257 - and a non-profit making organisation, run by a Parental Management Committee that encourages parental support. Any ideas for fund-raising or comments about the group are always welcome.

The committee consists of four Officers (Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and Publicity Officer) and general members. All parents are welcome to join the management committee which meets informally approximately five times a year to organise social events, fund-raising activities, etc. Typical events include quiz nights, quiz sheets, raffles and jumble sales for the parents, and sponsored events and parties for the children. Local companies are approached to provide raffle prizes for fund-raising events.
